The Principal and the Peas

The Vanished Artichokes
The Interview
You might think that the principal of FTE is always busy with paperwork and economy can't work in the garden, but he still does it. When we interviewed him, Mr. McCasland told us, "As far as I'm concerned, the black eyed peas and the cow peas did very well, but the best growing plant had to be the okra because it produced the most and it's used to the summer heat. You could find okra in the tropics."  Sadly, the artichokes did not do very well, they died :( . More coming up on the garden soon!!!!!

  1. Did you see that the artichokes have returned? I, too, thought they were gone forever due to the great drought over the summer! But, they have come back to us- amazing how resilient plants can be! I hope we get some artichokes this spring!
